Dimensions of Cabinet Cutouts
1.Dimensions of the hood insert (W x D x H):
EL11-30: 27-3/4” X 11-1/2” X 11”.
EL11-36: 35-7/16” X 11-1/2” X 11”.
2. Measure and cut out the opening for the insert (W X D X H):
EL11-30: 26 1/2” x 10-3/4”.
EL11-36: 34 1/2” x 10-3/4”.
3.The cabinet’s depth must be greater than 11-3/4″.
Height of Counter Top to Wood Frame
1. Top 6″ round exhaust.
2. Floor-to-countertop height: 36″ (standard).
3. Countertop height from the bottom of the wood frame: 26 —30″ (recommended).
4. If it is an elbow, a min of 12″ straight run before the elbow is required.
5. Chimney vent holes must be open for air to circulate in ducted/ductless installations.
Charcoal Filter Installation Method
1. Remove the baffle filter
2. Find the 2 screws on the right side of the motor that leaves a gap in the volute.
3. Attach the 2 charcoal filter ears to the screws.
4. Baffle filter re-installed in place.
5. Simply install the right side. Replace every 3-6 months.
6. Chimney vent holes must be open for filtered air to circulate through the room.
