Step 1
Disconnect Power
Before connecting the ductless range hood, remember to turn off the power.
Step 2
Preparing Mounting
Measure and mark the centerline of the range hood on the wall according to the diagram below.
Step 3
Make Electrical Connection
Connect the range hood black wire negative (-) to the incoming power supply negative (-) wire.
The range hood red wire is positive (+) to the incoming power supply positive (+) wire.
Connect the range hood yellow-green ground wire to the incoming power supply ground wire.
Step 4
Mount Range Hood
Make sure the back of the hood is parallel with the RV wall and the range hood is level with the bottom of the cabinet.
Fix the range hood onto the top cabinet with the four screws provided.
How loud is the fan in decibels on this unit?
About 51dB.
Can you answer if it’s 12v or 110? It’s advertised for RVs so they have both.
Only 12V DC.
How easy is the installation process?
It’s very simple. The manual is written in great detail and you can understand it at a glance
Is the filter removal process simple?
Yes, rotate the retaining clip on the filter and take it away
Can this be vented out the top of the RV?
The vent comes out the back of the unit but you could run the vent up out the top but that is up to how you run the vent out.
